3. RANKINGS AND AWARDS (BASED ON PARTICIPATION OF 1142 PIGEONS)
Awards tables apply for a maximum participation of 1142 pigeons. If the entries do not attain 1142 pigeons, the awards will be recalculated with the number of participant pigeons.
3.1 GENERAL INDIVIDUAL RANKING
According to the established in point 3 of the regulation of the Grand Prix of Portugal, the prizes were meant to a minimum participation of 1500 pigeons. Under this regulation, the prize table was recalculated based on the 1142 pigeons entered, becoming effective the following values:

3.2 ACE PIGEON RANKING
• The ranking will be established by the sum of the averages of the
official trainings (over 100 km) + final competition;
• The provisional rankings for ace pigeon will be disclosed after each training;
• In the case of a tie, the winner is the pigeon that obtained the best
classification in the final race;
• The race will be considered closed when 25 % of the basketed pigeons have arrived. If the race is not closed on the first day, it will be closed on the second day, the latest at 8:00PM even if less than 25% of the basketed pigeons have not arrived.
• To win the Ace pigeon, all pigeons must rank in the final race.
3.2.1 ACE PIGEON AWARDS
According to the established in point 3 of the regulation of the Grand Prix
of Portugal, the prizes were meant to a minimum participation of 1500 pigeons.
Under this regulation, the prize table was recalculated based on the 1142
pigeons entered, becoming effective the following values:

3.3 TEAM RANKING
• All teams participating in the FCI Grand Prix Portugal will appear in
this ranking;
• The winning team is the one that achieves the highest sum in the set of
measurements obtained by the first 2 pigeons of the team in the official
trainings (over 100 km) and in the final race;
• In the case of a tie, the winner will be the team that gets the lowest sum of rankings won by their best 2 pigeons in the final competition;
• If the tie subsists, the winner will be the team with the best qualified pigeon in the final race.
3.3.1 TEAM RANKING AWARDS
3.4 REWARDS FOR PARTICIPATION - AUCTION
The pigeon owner
will get a participation prize of 50% of the auctioned pigeon (less expenses
with the sale and with the Photos), if the pigeon reach a minimum value of
150.00 €uros in the auction.
